Castellum is one of the Nordic region’s leading players in commercial real estate, offering modern facilities for companies across industries. At one of their locations, they have gathered several companies under one roof with shared meeting rooms and services. To ensure a simple and efficient booking experience for all tenants, Castellum chose to implement MyDesk.
The project
The goal of the project was to enable all tenants in the building to be able to book shared meeting rooms and order catering – directly in their Outlook calendar, regardless of which Microsoft 365 platform they use. It was crucial that the solution could work across organizations and provide a consistent user experience.
The challenge
In properties with multiple independent businesses, there are often different Office 365 tenants in play. Traditional solutions don’t support sharing and booking resources across these tenants without compromising usability, security or functionality. This often creates administrative barriers and inefficiencies in the daily use of shared facilities.
Why MyDesk
MyDesk stands out as the only solution on the market that can handle the booking of shared resources – such as meeting rooms and catering – across multiple Office 365 tenants, while still allowing users to make bookings directly in Outlook. This makes MyDesk particularly suitable for real estate companies such as Castellum, where common facilities are shared between several companies.
What was delivered
Integration with multiple Office 365 tenants
Outlook integration for all tenants
Booking meeting rooms and catering through a single platform
A centralized management solution for resource management
Easy-to-use interface for both tenants and administration
