Ringsted Municipality has chosen MyDesk as its new solution for booking meeting rooms and meeting catering. The move marks a step towards a more modern and user-friendly platform that meets the municipality’s needs for both technological integration and local support.
The project
The project was initiated with the desire to optimize the daily handling of meetings and catering. MyDesk was chosen to deliver a solution that is tightly integrated with Outlook and Office 365, which matches Ringsted Municipality’s hybrid way of working. An important part of the project was to ensure a smooth transition from the previous solution while maintaining existing hardware.
The challenge
Ringsted Municipality had an older platform that no longer met the expectations of modern users. It lacked tight integration with Office 365 and Outlook Online, creating unnecessary workflows and complexity for users. In addition, the municipality found that the previous supplier could not provide the attentive and accessible support that was crucial in everyday life.
