LEGOLAND® Billund receives thousands of guests every year – but also a large number of external craftsmen who perform maintenance and technical services in the park. To ensure a high level of security and documentation in accordance with internal procedures, LEGOLAND® has chosen MyDesk as the platform for guest registration and digital signing.
The project
The goal of the project was to create a user-friendly and secure solution for registering external craftsmen. The solution should give LEGOLAND® a full overview of who is in the park, what they are doing and where they are working – while making it possible to obtain a digital signature upon arrival.
The challenge
LEGOLAND® had a special need for documentation: Each craftsman had to confirm his arrival digitally and indicate work tasks and location. At the same time, the signature had to be stored securely for up to 5 years to meet documentation requirements and internal audits. Previous manual processes were time-consuming and the risk of incomplete documentation was high.
Why MyDesk
MyDesk was chosen because of its flexible guest registration solution that could be easily adapted to LEGOLAND’s needs. The platform made it possible to combine digital registration, labor-specific information and signature collection in one unified solution. MyDesk’s focus on data security and compliance also played a crucial role.
What was delivered
MyDesk provided a digital guest registration solution with integrated screen signature. Upon arrival at the service entrance, craftsmen register via a tablet where they enter their name, company, work task and area. Finally, they provide their digital signature, which is stored securely for a minimum of five years. The solution gives LEGOLAND® a real-time overview of all active external craftsmen in the park and creates a documented and auditable history.
