In January 2026, EG will complete a major upgrade of their guest reception and roll out MyDesk’s new digital e-ink guest cards to EG offices across multiple countries. With the solution, EG ensures a more modern, consistent and reliable guest experience – while reducing the consumption of print and disposable materials.
For several years, MyDesk has had the pleasure of delivering a classic guest registration solution for EG with a guest registration screen and associated printed guest cards. This solution has created an efficient and professional arrival process where guests can easily register and receive a clear guest card.
Now EG is taking the next step.
Complete hardware upgrade with a focus on stability and future-proofing
As part of the new rollout, MyDesk is replacing all existing hardware and upgrading EG’s solution to MyDesk’s 21.5″ guest registration screens. This provides a more modern look at the front desk and creates a more robust platform that is ready for future needs and expansion.
The new solution combines the screens with digital e-ink guest cards for flexible and professional visitor identification – without the need to print new cards for each guest.
E-ink guest card in EG’s own design
The digital e-ink guest cards are delivered in EG’s own design with logo and visual identity. This means that the guest card becomes an integral part of EG’s brand experience, while being clear, legible and practical for both guests and employees.
The solution ensures a consistent look and feel across offices and countries, making the guest reception feel professional and recognizable regardless of location.

More eco-friendly solution than classic printing
The transition from printed guest cards to e-ink is also a concrete step in a more sustainable direction. With e-ink, the need for paper, labels and printing is reduced, and EG minimizes the use of consumables in guest registration.
At the same time, e-ink is a technology that is particularly well suited for guest cards because it is energy-friendly, has high readability and is stable in daily operation.
