There are several types of flexible working that are becoming more common in offices, such as job sharing, working from home, flexible working hours, annual hours, part-time work and activity-based working. These are all different ways people can work outside of 9-17 working hours.

A flexible workplace is a term that falls under the umbrella of flexible working and refers to the structure of an office, a structure that differs from the more traditional rows and cubicles.
