The canteen gains a consolidated administrative overview of all orders, changes, purchases, and costs, supporting more efficient operations and planning.

Features

MyDesk introduces an extended approval flow in the canteen module, giving canteens increased control over orders and a more structured workflow. Designed to support operations, planning and internal processes, the feature makes it possible to define precise rules for when an order should be approved and by whom.

Flexible approval system

The new approval flow allows you to establish multi-level approval. Organizations can choose to have all orders automatically go through an approval process, or they can set up more targeted rules depending on their needs. The flow is flexible and can be adapted to different types of canteen operations and different internal procedures.

Approval based on quantity and deadline

Rules can be created where orders above a set number of units trigger an approval. This is especially relevant for larger events or orders that may affect the capacity of the canteen.

In addition, the canteen can define deadlines for orders. If a user tries to order after the set deadline, the order is automatically sent for approval. The same applies if an order is placed after a certain time, allowing the canteen to react to incoming order specifications where the time factor is important.

Multi-level rules

The rules can be configured on three different levels:

  • General level – applies to the entire range

  • Category level – applies to selected groups of products

  • Product level – applies to specific items

This structure gives the canteens detailed control of the process and makes it possible to create an approval flow that matches capacity, logistics and organizational requirements.

Better management and more predictable operations

The new approval flow makes it easier for canteens to keep track of orders and ensure that orders are handled according to the internal framework. It supports procurement, resource and production planning and allows the canteen to react early to orders that require special handling.
