In this guide, we will show you how you can easily manage floor plans as an administrator.
Step 1: Log in as administrator #
In order to remove or deactivate a seat or area, you must first log in as an administrator. This means that you must be able to see the administration point in MyDesk.
Step 2: Navigate to your locations #
Once you are logged in, you will see all your locations. This is important because it allows you to select the specific location you want to change.
Step 3: Deactivate an entire location #
If you want to deactivate an entire location, click the three dots next to the location. Here you will select “Edit”. Then uncheck “Active” and save the changes. Once this is done, the location and its areas will no longer be available.
Step 4: Disable a specific area #
If you only want to disable a specific area, you can navigate to the area you want to change. For example, if you are on Taastrup and want to deactivate an area, follow the same process. Click “Edit” and remove the checkmark to make it inactive.
Step 5: Disable specific seats #
If you need to deactivate specific seats because they should no longer be available for booking, click the pencil icon next to the seat. Uncheck this, press “Save” and “Update”. Once this is done, the pitch will appear in red and will no longer be available for booking.
Step 6: Save and update your changes #
After making your changes, it is important to save and update. This ensures that all changes take effect and that the system works as intended. It’s a good practice to review your changes to make sure everything is correct.
