In this guide, we will explain how you can book different resources, such as bikes and cars etc. using MyDesk. We’ll take you through the whole process step by step so you can get the most out of “Other resources” in MyDesk.
Step 1: Open MyDesk and find the other resources icon #
To get started booking other resources, open MyDesk on your mobile, Outlook or Teams. Once inside MyDesk, find the icon called “Other resources”. This icon is located in the bottom right corner of your MyDesk app.
Step 2: Select the resource you want to book #
After clicking the “Other resources” icon, you will see a list of the resources that your company has available for booking. This can include bikes, cars, projects and other resources.
Select the date you want to book the resource for. For example, let’s choose January 9th.
Step 3: Add resource and select location #
Once you have selected the date, click “Add resource”. Here you will be asked to select which location you want to download the resource from. In this case, we choose “Copenhagen”.
Once you have selected the location, you will see what resources are available. In this case, there is only one bike available. If there are images available, you can click on the image to the right to see which bike it is.
Step 4: Select the time slot for the booking #
Now you need to select the time period you would like to book the bike for. For example, let’s say you want to book it from 12:00 to 16:00. Once you have selected the time period, click “Book now”.
Step 5: Confirm your booking #
After clicking “Book now”, the resource will be booked for you. You will also see that the booking information has been added to your Outlook calendar, so you won’t forget.
Step 6: Change or delete your reservation #
If you want to change your reservation, go into MyDesk and tap “Delete reservation” or the pencil to change your reservation. It’s important to note that it’s not enough to just go into your Outlook calendar and delete the reservation there. You also need to go into MyDesk to delete the reservation correctly.
