If you have problems with your Outlook not loading the latest version of the Addin that your IT department has rolled out, it’s because Outlook stores old Addins locally for a period of time.
You can speed up the process by doing the following:
- Close Outlook
- Press the Windows button on your keyboard
- Type “Run” (and press enter on your keyboard), if your Windows is in English, type “Run”
- Paste this url and press enter: %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Wef

- Delete everything in the folder (if you’re nervous about deleting, you can also copy the files to your desktop for backup)
- Restart Outlook
- Within a few seconds, Outlook will download the new Outlook addin into Outlook
