MyDesk offers a range of customization options for guest registration so that your business can create a unique and efficient visitor experience. In this guide, we’ll walk you through how you can customize the system to suit your needs.

Step 1: Manage locations and logo #

The first step in customizing MyDesk guest registration is to manage the locations and visuals presented to visitors.

On the administration page, you can select the different locations your company has. You also have the option to upload a new logo under the “Logo” section.

Step 2: Customizing background image and colors #

The background image and color scheme can also be customized to match your company’s visual identity. This includes the ability to adjust the brightness of the background image to match the desired mood.

To change the background image, simply select a new image that will appear on the screen when visitors register. Adjust colors and fonts to make sure everything is consistent with your company style.

Step 3: Activating extra features #

Depending on the devices used for visitor registration, you may need to enable extra features. If the device does not have a keyboard, you can enable a virtual keyboard.

Another feature is the option to enable an “NDA”. This means that the visitor must agree to the company’s policies before check-in.

Step 4: Customizing Texts and Messages #

All texts displayed to visitors can be customized. This includes the ability to write texts in multiple languages, including English if desired.

If you enable SMS notifications, the host will receive a message when the visitor checks in. This message can also be customized, just like the email sent upon guest arrival.

Step 5: Controlling Access and Administration #

It is important to control who has access to manage the guest registration. This can be done by adding or removing users who have access to the system.

If your business operates in a multi-user building, you can also add other businesses that are allowed to check in. This ensures a seamless experience for all visitors.
