Choose a card for your reception
The card's shape, screen and update method depend on the model. Clarify the need for name, company, host, colors and possibly a photo. Use the specific hardware description when choosing a model; features from a new generation do not automatically apply to older cards.
Design for quick reading
Give the name and relevant visitor information clear space. Company logo and colors can make the card recognizable, but must not interfere with legibility. Agree which personal data should be displayed and whether a photo is necessary at all.
Plan delivery and return
The reception must know which card is given to the guest, how it is updated and where it is handed over. Check power, network and the updated display before issuing the card. Recycling requires a practical return and charging routine.
Keep access control separate
Digital visual identification is not the same as physical access. If the card is to be used for doors or other access points, compatibility and integration must be agreed separately.
