If you have problems with your Outlook not loading the latest version of the Addin that your IT department has rolled out, it’s because Outlook stores old Addins locally for a period of time.<\/p>\n

You can speed up the process by doing the following:<\/p>\n

  1. Close Outlook<\/li>\n
  2. Press the Windows button on your keyboard<\/li>\n
  3. Type “Run” (and press enter on your keyboard), if your Windows is in English, type “Run”<\/li>\n
  4. Paste this url and press enter: %LOCALAPPDATA%\\Microsoft\\Office\\16.0\\Wef

  5. Delete everything in the folder (if you’re nervous about deleting, you can also copy the files to your desktop for backup)<\/li>\n
  6. Restart Outlook<\/li>\n
