It can be an unnecessary burden for employees to book their seats every day. In this guide, I&#8217;ll show you how to implement auto-booking so that employees don&#8217;t have to think about it.  <\/p>\n<h2>Step 1: You must be an administrator<\/h2>\n<p>In order to make autobookings, you need to be an administrator. As an administrator, you have access to a section called Administration and user permissions. From here you can make the necessary settings for autobooking.  <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/mydesk.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/3512512e-14ea-44ed-9fd7-fe33a53b884e.png\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" style=\"object-fit: cover; width: 501px;\" src=\"https:\/\/mydesk.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/3512512e-14ea-44ed-9fd7-fe33a53b884e.png\" alt=\"Administrator settings\" width=\"1278\" height=\"282\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h2>Step 2: Find the employee<\/h2>\n<p>Once you are in the administration panel, you can search for the employee you want to set up autobooking for. In this case, I will search for my colleague Henrik. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/mydesk.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/c2cad43a-be88-4691-973d-97cb21401c77.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" style=\"object-fit: cover; width: 501px;\" src=\"https:\/\/mydesk.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/c2cad43a-be88-4691-973d-97cb21401c77.png\" alt=\"Search for employee\" width=\"1278\" height=\"282\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h2>Step 3: Edit the employee&#8217;s settings<\/h2>\n<p>Once you have found the employee, you can click &#8220;Edit&#8221;. By default, it&#8217;s from Monday to Friday. However, if you know that the person works from home every Monday, you can remove that day.  <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/mydesk.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/72edf80f-fae6-438d-96b1-453b3deb8124.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" style=\"object-fit: cover; width: 502px;\" src=\"https:\/\/mydesk.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/72edf80f-fae6-438d-96b1-453b3deb8124.png\" alt=\"Specify days for booking\" width=\"1278\" height=\"283\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h2>Step 6: Book the space<\/h2>\n<p>After you remove Monday, the space will now be booked from Tuesday to Friday. This can be useful if space is limited.
